Teacher Advisory Committee
Purpose: The purpose of the Teacher Advisory Council is to provide an opportunity for teachers to share challenges and successes for improvement or for replication. The council will focus on areas such as curriculum and instruction, school context and organization, professional development, assessment and accountability and parental involvement. Principals will receive monthly follow up information to ensure transparency, build trust, and improve communication.
Plan: The council will meet the first Tuesday of each month. JoAnna Sproles will take minutes. Copies of minutes/summaries will be provided to the council and to administration. All items will be prioritized and addressed in that manner. Informal and formal data will be collected to support monitoring and development of district goals.
