At no other time in the history of education have we had such an amazing
opportunity to change the current trajectory for public education and
student learning. Educators across the nation are facing the same unique
set of challenges in raising our expectations through Common Core, holding
ourselves accountable through teacher, principal and superintendent
evaluations tied to student growth, and engaging students in innovative
assessments designed to determine whether or not our children are college
