Superintendent Dr. Lisa Karmacharya developed Student Advisory Committee Meetings to sit and discuss with students the state of their schools. She will visit the schools after each 9 weeks and invite various students to sit with her during their lunch.

During this time, Dr. Karmacharya asks students about their experiences at school, safety, perceptions, course offerings, sports, clubs/activities and other topics like the presence of bullying, drugs, or weapons. It is also a time for students to discuss the positive aspects of their school as well as suggest improvements.
