Many annual traditions are alive and well in the community of Ole Brook. The Friday night lights burn brightly across King Field at the home football games of 5A Brookhaven High School Panthers.

 After tailgating in nearby Panther Park, residents sporting their red and blue gather in the stands to be a part of the excitement generated when the players battle their opponents from near and far.

At BHS, football is a teaching tool to help make growing young men learn respect, honor, teamwork and discipline. Panther football touches the heart of tradition in Brookhaven during the school year. And, at the heart of Panther football, stands a dedicated coaching staff and their determined players.

Tommy Clopton, Athletic Director and Head Football Coach

Coach Clopton has been chosen to coach the Bernard Blackwell All-Star South Football Team! Chaz Allen will assist. The All-Star Football Game is scheduled to be held December 22nd in Gulfport. BHS students Jonah Hill and Justin Blue will be playing in the game. Jaboree Poole was chosen to play in the Mississippi-Alabama All-Star Football Classic on December 15th in Montgomery, Alabama.
