The Office of the Deputy Superintendent is responsible as the spokesperson for the District in the absence of the Superintendent. This position also serves as the purchasing agent, handles personnel issues (including recruitment and hiring), facilities usage and rental, alternative education programs, due process hearings, school safety, student transfers, and as liaison with parents and parks/recreation.
