Presidential Profile Requirements
o You must profile 3 United State Presidents
o All information must be typed (unless approved before due date)
o All categories on the following page must be completed for each of
the three Presidents you are profiling. (Be sure to keep the numbers and
topics/subtopics too) Follow the format given!
o Opinion Paragraph- Explain your perspective on the President as being
successful or unsuccessful while in office.
o 12 Font type. Double space between each category. If information
within a category wraps around single space the remaining lines.
o All sources must be listed on a Reference Page Use __________ format.
(Only one reference page for all three Presidents)
o You must use no less than 3 sources for each president. You may site
one internet source for each President. All other sources must come from
books, periodicals, etc.
o Include a cover page: Center the following information: Name, Due
Date, Class Period
o You must include a map of the United States of America identifying
all the significant places (5) mentioned for each President. (3 maps total)
o In order to be graded the three profiles, cover page, reference page
and maps must be submitted on or before the due date in a plastic portfolio.
o NO LATE PROFILES WILL BE ACCEPTED! No partial scores will be given.
This is an all or nothing assignment.
Of the three presidents that you profiled, select the one that you found to
be the most interesting. This is not limited to the President who was the
most popular, the President who is viewed as being the most effective or the
president with the greatest accomplishments while in office. However, this
