Ms. Karitta Smith's Life Skills Class

Welcome to my Life Skills class!  My name is Karitta Smith, and I have one assistant, Ms. Terry Dickey.  We have a total of seven  students this school year. 

This week we will cover the following topics:

Community Helpers-The students will name and list different community helpers within Brookhaven, MS.

Numbers (Counting, Naming, even/odd)-The students will name and count 1-50.  The students will distinguish between even and odd numbers.  Double digit addition and subtraction will also be reviewed.

Time-The students will discuss time (e.g. days of week, months of year, hour, min)

Exercise-Students will engage in various exercises to increase mobility and balance. 

Capitalization-The students will review parts of speech and capitalization in sentences and proper nouns.
